Sourcing coffee – Our Partners

Choosing coffees to roast and blend is a complex process. AIR uses a strict set of criteria for choosing coffees, both in the way we select individual coffees and how we source our green coffee in general.

Taste – all our coffees are tasted and assessed blind. This means we do not know what the coffee is before we test it. This ensures the coffee is measured on the quality and aspects in the cup and no pre conceived ideas. Every coffee is scored and assessed before being included or excluded from our production process.

Wherever possible AIR partners with coffee growers, processors and importers to ensure a transparent and fair transaction process from crop to cup. We endeavour to maintain good working relationships with the people who work hard to grow and harvest our coffee and take a vested interest in

their wellbeing and the circumstances of their workers.
